Thin Within & Post-Pregnancy

I am continuing my Thin Within journey post-pregnancy.  There’s been a little bumps along the way, but the Lord has been faithful to show me His truth as I continue to keep my eyes on Him and take the time to renew my mind.  Weight loss after having a baby is totally possible while following the principles of Thin Within.  God continues to do a work within me!  Praise God!

In this video, I share what it’s been like after having a baby in regards to eating, body image, and following my boundaries.  As I stated in the pregnancy video, eating 0-5 works ALL THE TIME–no matter what!  It’s God’s beautiful design!  And yes, baby Joshua makes an appearance!  🙂

    Extending GRACE to ourselves always, and especially when the hormones are getting back to normal is sooo important! I wish I gave myself grace when I was a young mom, nursing…I pushed myself too much.

    Now going through menopause…the hormonal shifts are very similar…so I have been giving myself GRACE and I am peaceful…and the hot flashes are almost gone…

    I love the Lot’s wife looking back reference you made…I will hold this thought in my heart and mind … powerful! 🙂

    Yes, it is a FAITH JOURNEY! 🙂

    Thank you for this. I had a son on March 7th! This was my third baby in three years. With the other two, I lost all my baby weight in six months. Now, I still have 20 lbs to go and it has been six months. I am now following the principles of Thin Within, but not always doing so well. Thank God for the “observation and correction” instead of “feeling sorry for myself and binge-ing.” Thank you very much for this video. It was encouraging.

    Thank you for sharing Christiana. I decided to start TW yesterday. I have tried it before, but I guess I wasn’t ready yet? We are goring to try to get pregnant in December, if it’s the Lord’s will. Your videos are very encouraging 🙂

      Raquel, thank you for your comment! I’m so glad you have been encouraged by what I’ve shared at my videos. Eating between hunger and satisfaction is exactly how God created us to eat, but somewhere along the way, the concept of needing something external to tell us how, what, and when to eat really bogged down the intuitive eater He created us to be. Eating 0-5 during pregnancy totally works! Blessings and I’m praying the fruit of your womb will be faithful! 🙂
