The lesson today brought to the forefront that we should make it our priority each morning to come to God’s Word first and foremost to obtain happiness in the Lord…not to let go of His Word until we experience His deep nourishment in our souls.
This isn’t to be done so that we can share with others or have an idea of what to say to them or to get input about ministry. This is done merely to feed our souls.

How can we grow closer to Him if we are NOT spending time in His Word, meditating upon it, digging deep into His Word? We can always find excuses,”I don’t have enough time, I have so much to do, I’ll spend time with Him later,”etc. We need to get SERIOUS in our walk with the Lord. If that means waking up 15 minutes earlier than the rest of the household so you can have that quiet time, than do it!! If we desire to be all that God desires for us, than we MUST put Him first above all things!!thanks for feeding my spirit. It was quite DELICIOUS!!
