I don’t think I have shared this here before. I wonder how it would affect my view of myself, food, and eating (and a million other things) if I believed the words of this song? I hope it blesses you as it does me. 🙂

Heidi — I can understand that God made me for "more than all of this." I just have a difficult time figuring out what the "more" is. I'm at a point where my 4 children have moved out and I'm thinking — "What do you want me to do now, God?" One of the most difficult things for me is to "set goals." That may be one thing that God wants me to focus on during our study together — to set goals and persevere. I just want to make sure they are God's goals and not something I come up with on my own. Praying for His will and guidance for the future. Maybe I just need to focus on my today and not be so concerned about the future. My nickname could be "Confused" today. Still trusting Him and leaning on what I know to be true.

Hi, believerkjk – Wow…you are at a new chapter in your life's book. A new adventure! HOW exciting! Goal setting IS tricky isn't it? Day 3 has a lot about that in the Thin Within book, but if I had to do it again, we would change some things in the writing of that chapter. LOL! Even so, there is a lot of great stuff in there. We quote from Charles Stanley's book, Success God's Way, in day 3. You might want to see if your library has that book. It could be God will use it to encourage you! 🙂 You are SO right. To come up with our own fleshly goals isn't what we want. Even the good can be the enemy of the best.
