Dodger and Daniel
A ten year old, autism spectrum boy, a “magical” connection with a formerly abused mustang, and a “Forbidden Ride” are components of a story found in the pages of a newly released book called Miracles and Moments of Grace: Inspiring Stories From Moms. This is a (true) story I wrote about my son and one of our four horses. This book is filled with “Chicken Soup for the Soul” type inspiration!
My son is now 20 and Dodger has “gone on” to Rainbow Bridge, but the memories are so sweet.

Heidi – you are such a blessing! I want to thank your for your work and your presence here. Although I have seen your blog before and “chatted” via TW chats in the past, I did not know you were doing this bible study until a few days ago. So, I am a few days behind, but looking forward to the renewing of my mind! I know that God reminded me to check out your blog so that I would be equipped to deal with what happened last night. After being told by a friend that she is going back to weight watchers (she is thin and a lifetime member), I started to feel sucked back into the thinking about ww again (previous success but harmful food/exercise obsession followed). Long story short, I thought I’d be up for some of the night in a spiritual battle, but….I told Satan to get out, I put on the armor of God, repeated scripture, repeated a Praise list (thank you!) and Stood on the Promises of God. As I wrote in my journal this morning, I slept like a baby. This is the road to freedom and peace. Praying for us all, especially our leader.
