I will post more later, but this week’s assignment (tentatively!) is to pray through and complete chapters 5, 6, and 7 in the Thin Within book.
Please continue to keep your list of attributes of God and how he relates to people as asserted by the authors. Feel free, too, to add to it when you read the scriptures, of course!
Take time to use your list or part of your list to praise God for Who He is and how He relates to you.

Dear Heidi, My DH and I just "DING!" decided to go back to what we know is right with TW! And Viola, I found your blog.. thanks for doing this! I love the video clips.. I stopped at Chpt 5 in 2002, so I guess this week I will be finally getting through it! Trusting God with my weight will be hard for me, and yet so freeing.. Thanks again. Barbara, Lake Tahoe

The Lord keeps confirming to me that He wants me to do this. Friday, I was having a difficult time for reasons that had nothing to do with TW. It was one of the moments when I wished I could be a little girl again and curl up in my mother's lap and hear her say that everything is going to be all right. Saturday, I picked up my book for some review and reading and this jumped out at me from page 39, "…at any moment we can run into the loving arms of Abba, Father. If we find ourselves diving face first into a bag of Oreos, we can stop, observe, and call out to the Lord who answers us in our distress." Ahhh…what relief!It took me awhile to work on my goals, but they are finally done. I want to keep those private, but my vision statement is: I want others to see my life and know that God is in the business of changing people.
